Life of a dog.

Gettin up and off to work
Then back to sleep again
The mundane life of boring routines
That never seem to end
Not much lazing time it seems
For this poor creature to savour
But in reality much time there is
And so he must endeavour
Never one to panic
When burdens are far and few
But when it comes he starts to fear
Anxiety rages anew
What this creature really needs
Is priorities set right
The rest will all fall into place
Without a fuss or fight
If this creature rings a bell
And you know who it might be
Well it really is no mystery
Cos that happens to be ME
I live the life of a dog
Cos work and work I must
Bestow upon the dog your feelings
Cos dogs are creatures of trust
The dog knows little things
That occur out of it's domain
But show it once or show it twice
In its memory it remains
They say dogs are Man's best friend
This statement I can't revere
Cos dogs are sweet and dogs are cute
And they sure do persevere
If Man is happy so is dog
This equation bears no wrong
Obviously dog is happy now
That's why he's writing this song
Incoherent thoughts abound
And words just all pour out
Dog makes no sense of what he wrote
Cos all he does is shout
Does it seem to you that dog is trying
Ever so hard to rhyme this thing
Cos you might probably note by now
This whole rhyme's starting to stink
So before you shout out "overkill"
Let dog make one last statement
Whether you like this rhyme or not
It's just for entertainment
The life of a dog is never easy
Its almost like an eulogy
The secret to spicing a dog's life up
